Michael Brennan

Michael Brennan was born in Tampa, Florida. From the earliest moments there was never a time when Michael was not consumed by drawing. When Michael was growing up, in Tampa, many of the modern artists of the time were working from Ybor City, close to Michael’s home. Modern art was everywhere in Tampa at that time and Michael did not miss any of it. He always felt like it made sense to him, more so than what was considered conventional at the time.

Michael’s subjects have included architectural illustration, advertising composition, and game fish. His latest passion is with horses. Michael began painting horses without any previous exposure or knowledge of these magnificent animals. Now, horses are a normal part of his life. Indeed, they were just waiting to be discovered.
